Location Smart Postcards
Neighbor postcard mailings, fueled by big data.
People pay attention to what's happening on their own street. When you sell a car, install solar panels, or finish a new roof, I send a postcard to the neighbors around that address, with a message written for your business and your offer — for a solar installer, "Your neighbor on Oak Street just went solar. Isn't it time you did too?" Design, targeted list, soft-touch printing, and mailing, handled start to finish — from Richmond, Illinois, for businesses anywhere in the United States.
It's the oldest marketing there is — keeping up with the Joneses — aimed precisely. Starting from your customer's address, I use neighborhood data and aerial map views to pick the households most likely to care: the same kind of home, the same street, the same need. Then the postcard does the rest: printed on a soft-feel stock that people notice the moment they pull it from the mailbox, with one clear offer and a reason to act now.

Fueled by big data
Every postcard goes to someone who could actually buy.
Mailing lists are built from neighborhood data and checked against aerial map views, so you never pay to mail a home that already has what you’re selling. If a neighbor just had a pool installed, the postcards about pools skip every nearby house that already has one — and go only to the homes that don’t.

Common questions
What is neighbor postcard marketing?
It's direct mail sent to the households around one of your recent customers. When someone on the street just bought a new car, added solar, or got a new roof, their neighbors are far more likely to consider the same thing — the postcard puts your offer in front of them at exactly that moment.
Which businesses is this for?
Any business whose work neighbors can see or hear about. Home services: renovations, deck builders, roofing and siding, window replacement, window cleaning, painters, handymen, HVAC, plumbers, electricians, septic systems, solar panels, lawn care, pool services, and backyard playgrounds. Auto and boats: car sales, mechanics, and boat cleaning and maintenance. Plus real estate agents and car insurance agents.
Will postcards go to neighbors who already have what I'm selling?
No. Lists are checked against neighborhood data and aerial map views, so homes that already have it are left off. If you're advertising pool installation because a neighbor just got a pool, the postcards skip every nearby house that already has a pool — you only pay to reach the homes that could actually buy.
Do you only mail in Illinois?
No — neighbor postcard mailings are available anywhere in the United States. I'm based in Richmond, Illinois, but the lists, printing, and mailing work the same whether your customers are down the road or across the country.
Will the postcard name my customer?
Not unless they agree to it. By default the message stays anonymous — "your neighbor on Oak Street" — which keeps the neighborly effect without naming anyone. If your customer gives written permission to be named, the postcard can say so, which makes it even more personal.
Who receives the postcards?
Households around your customer's address, chosen with neighborhood data and aerial map views — for example, homes on the same street, homes with similar roofs or yards, or homes in the same subdivision. We decide the area and number of postcards together for each campaign.
What does soft-touch mean?
It's a print finish with a smooth, velvety feel, so the postcard feels different from everything else in the mailbox. People tend to hold it a second longer, which is the whole point.
What's included?
Everything: the postcard design and offer, the targeted mailing list, printing on soft-touch stock, and mailing — postage is packaged in with the printing.
How much does a neighbor postcard mailing cost?
Each campaign is quoted based on how many postcards go out and how often you mail. Tell me your business, your offer, and how many recent jobs you'd like to mail around, and I'll put together a quote.
